This original and attractive block interior was the first one in Barcelona to be recovered, in 1985.

It is one of the most peculiar spots in the city, since during the summer months it becomes an "urban beach" complete with sand, changing rooms and showers, where children can swim under the shade of the magnolias, the most characteristic tree of the block interiors.

Inside the block the brick tower still stands that was built in 1867 by Josep Oriol Mestres. It is the source of the water for the small swimming pool.
