  Palau Robert Gardens
Passeig de Gràcia, 105

The gardens around the Palau Robert, designed by Ramon Oliva, are an example of a late nineteenth century private garden, with fine-looking specimens of diverse species of palm tree.

The palace, which is at present the headquarters of the Tourist Office, was once the residence of the Marquis de Robert and was designed by the French architect Henry Granpierre and built under the foremanship of Joan Martorell between 1898 and 1903.

The silence and tranquillity create an island of calm in the heart of the busiest commercial areas of L'Eixample
